The Owl and the Pussycat

- In collaboration with Xaala Productions

Written by Bill Manhoff
The Owl and the Pussycat is a bold, fast-paced two-character comedy that brings together two wildly different personalities forced into close proximity. One is intellectual, guarded, and obsessed with rules and ideals; the other is impulsive, outspoken, sensual, and unapologetically alive. When chance throws them together, what begins as chaos and conflict slowly reveals vulnerability, humor, and a surprising emotional bond.
Through razor-sharp dialogue and intimate moments, the play explores loneliness, desire, identity, and the masks people wear to survive. Both hilarious and deeply human, The Owl and the Pussycat is a timeless battle-of-the-sexes story that asks whether connection is possible when two people see the world in completely opposite ways.
